Email is the fastest route into Docket Journal, and it is read by a person.
Tips and pitches
Specific and checkable is the standard: a rate change with the arithmetic, a system that failed a firm and why, data you have gathered, or something under-reported that you have first-hand sight of. Tell us what happened and how you know it. Pitching for a client is not a problem — open with that and we save a round of email.
Anything else for the desk goes to editor@docketjournal.com.
Press releases
Send releases here rather than to the tips line. We do not publish them as they arrive, and we will say so if we are not covering something — but a release with a named person who can answer questions is far more likely to become a story than one without.
Something we got wrong
Send the URL and what is wrong to corrections@docketjournal.com. The corrections policy explains what happens next.
Advertising and partner content
We take partner content from companies working in and around law firms, held to the standards on the advertising disclosure. Read that first, then tell us what you have in mind.
Data requests
Anything about personal data goes to privacy@docketjournal.com, and the privacy policy sets out what we hold.
